Peace Love and Community

In many places, people are looking for ways to feel more connected. Life gets busy, and it’s easy to lose that sense of community that used to come more naturally. My name is Jacqueline Nelson, and something I’ve been thinking a lot about is how small local projects can make a big difference.

One idea I really like is community gardens. They give people a place to meet, work on something together, and enjoy being outside. It’s not just about growing plants — it’s about building connections. When people share a space like that, conversations happen naturally and friendships can grow over time.

I believe communities become stronger when people feel welcome and included. Even small efforts, like organizing local activities or creating shared spaces, can have a positive impact.

Outside of that, I spend time working with dogs as a groomer. It’s work that requires patience and care, and I enjoy seeing how much happier dogs feel after being groomed. Animals bring a lot of positivity into people’s lives, and being around them every day is something I appreciate.

For me, the goal moving forward is simple: focus on positive things, support community, and continue building ideas that help bring people together.
